Stormy Moments

Up until this point, I have not mentioned any of my great ideas to my kids.  I thought that I should have things organized before I do so.  But last night, after I learned my friend is moving to Costa Rica for a year, I decided to use this as a starting point in the conversation.  Naively, I thought my kids would jump at the chance to take off to Europe for three months.  I was wrong.  Both of them were very concerned with being gone for so long.  Both of them were not as excited as I had hoped.

Meeting with Rosie

Today I met with my friend, Rosie, who is a recently trained travel agent.  She is a fantastic lady who pursued the licencing while working full time.  She did this because she loves to travel and wants to help people do as much of it as possible.  Today, I told her about my Paris idea.  She was so excited.  And I do not mean in a cool, calm way.  She was genuinely happy for me, and I could tell she was thinking about plans already.  This was very reassuring.  I have to admit that it has been
